This dress is perfect! It is a classic silhouette, very cute and comfortable. It is also completely opaque, not at all see through. I am 5 5, 165lbs and purchased a large. It fit perfectly, it is loose past the hips but more fitted in the chest/torso. If you are thick in the chest or are in between sizes I would go a size up, there is a slight stretch to the material but not much.
